Community and Economic Development offers services to people considering or involved in the development of land and buildings.
The mission for Community and Economic Development is to assist clients in improving and developing their properties, consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and adopted community standards
The services include providing appropriate information, permits, land use approvals, and inspections for a range of development activities related to building and fire safety, civil construction, and land use.

    The City of Mountlake Terrace requires permits and/or land use approvals for development and remodeling activities. Application forms for permits and land use approvals as well as checklists are provided in a printable format.
