National Night Out

August 6, 2019

The City of Mountlake Terrace has its annual award-winning National Night Out Against Crime on the first Tuesday evening in August at 6:00 p.m. at Evergreen Playfield, 22205 56th Avenue West.

Our free, family-friendly event combines entertainment, food and community involvement for a fun-filled evening. Entertainment includes music, bouncy houses, caricature artist, free food and more!

Citizens can meet city officials, learn about local businesses and service organizations, and celebrate with neighbors.

National Night Out features fun events as well as public safety oriented activities. A Police K-9 demonstration is a crowd favorites and Seattle Tae Kwon Do (in Mountlake Terrace) provides a highflying, board-breaking self-defense demonstration.

Mountlake Terrace Dance Program will also entertain. Police, Fire and Public Works vehicles are available for guests to sit in and check out from both the inside and outside.

Mountlake Terrace’s National Night Out event takes place  thanks to donations from our businesses and sponsors as well as volunteers and participants from local agencies and organizations.  Our key sponsor since the event commenced in the 1990s is Premera Blue Cross of Mountlake Terrace. Thank you, Premera, for your continued dedication to this very successful event!

The Mountlake Terrace National Night Out event has been recognized by the National Association of Town Watch as a National Award Winner for its outstanding participation.
