The City of Mountlake Terrace has its annual award-winning National Night Out Against Crime on the second Tuesday evening in August at 6:00 p.m. at Evergreen Playfield, 22205 56th Avenue West.
Our free, family-friendly event combines entertainment, food and community involvement for a fun-filled evening. Entertainment includes music, bouncy house, caricature artist, free food and more!
Citizens can meet city officials, learn about local businesses and service organizations, and celebrate with neighbors.
Last year’s event had other activities such as a magician, dance performances, martial arts demonstration, public safety vehicle tours, and the very popular water walking balls.
Mountlake Terrace’s National Night Out event takes place due to donations from our businesses and sponsors as well as volunteers and participants from local agencies and organizations. Our key sponsor since the event commenced in the 1990s is Premera Blue Cross of Mountlake Terrace. Thank you, Premera, for your continued dedication to this very successful event!
The Mountlake Terrace National Night Out event has been recognized by the National Association of Town Watch as a National Award Winner for its outstanding participation for several years. Well over 1,000 people attended last year’s event.
