MLT Sets Up Safe Internet Transaction Zone

The MLT Police Department encourages you to meet in public places and has made the parking lot outside the city’s Police Station available as a “Safe Internet Transaction Zone”. The Police Station is located at the Civic Center, at 5906 232nd Street SW.

Internet commerce has increased tremendously in recent years and making transactions between individuals via online sales can be risky. The Police Department has seen cases of people being robbed and even assaulted under these circumstances.
