Each year the City Council adopts an update to the 6-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The improvements included in the 2009 to 2014 program reflect continuing emphasis on preserving existing facilities along with a few projects for new facilities. The highlight of the TIP is the most aggressive program of pavement preservation projects in at least a decade.
