At 16 acres, the Evergreen Playfield complex is the largest sport complex in Mountlake Terrace. It consists of five baseball\softball fields, two grass soccer\football fields, an all weather soccer field, a quarter mile track, and four lighted tennis courts. Amenities include restrooms, a concession stand, play equipment, picnic area, barbecue grills, and walking trails that connect the park to the Recreation Pavilion.

Evergreen Playfield was constructed in 1976 with 50% of the first phase funded by a state grant. The athletic fields were subsequently developed using proceeds from a bond issue. Enbom Field Number 3 was named after former Mayor John Enbom who dubbed Mountlake Terrace "the city of quality of life".
