Mountlake Terrace Library
On March 5, 2008 the Recreation and Parks Department of the City of Mountlake Terrace held a public visioning workshop to connect with a broad audience of residents about their desires and priorities for future development of the park system and recreation programming. The planning team made a brief presentation about Mountlake Terrace’s existing park system, and about the public involvement process and time line for completing the project. The workshop included a variety of input opportunities, including individual consideration, one-on-one interactions with the planning team, small group discussions with their neighbors, and a facilitated discussion including all participants. Results of this workshop will be used along with other public involvement activities and analysis, to determine community needs for the park system.
