Our youth is our future. The city’s founders created the Civic Center in 1961 as a central place in our downtown where city services are provided. Fifty years later, the Civic Center has a Fire Station, Police Station and Public Library. The vacant site at the Civic Center is where city services and a community/senior center are planned to return.

Please visit our Civic Center web pages and learn more about how the Civic Center project is a part of our city’s future and our downtown revitalization!
