Jack Long Park

22102 58th Avenue W

Located adjacent to the city's iconic water tower, Jack Long Park features picnic tables, benches, a climbing rock, horseshoe pits, a "little free library", and paved walking trails. It's a great place to take a picnic lunch, listen to birds sing, and relax among the tall Evergreen trees.

History

Jack Long Park is a quiet 3-acre park named after one of the original leaders for park development in Mountlake Terrace. He lived in a house near the present site of St. Pius X Church and the park was dedicated in his memory in 1967.
