The seven-member Mountlake Terrace Planning Commission serves as an advisory board and makes recommendations to the City Council. Primary responsibilities include considering community development issues, especially those affecting future land use/growth, and making recommendations on the City's Comprehensive Plan and development code updates. Please forward all communication for Planning Commissioners to cityhall@mltwa.gov.
Regular Planning Commission meetings take place on the second and fourth Monday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in person at City Hall, (23204 58th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace) and via Zoom.
The Planning Commission accepts public comment during the meeting either in person or via Zoom or telephone. Please refer to the Public Comment Policy. If participating remotely, use the hand raise tool in Zoom to be recognized or *9 if participating by telephone (press *6 to unmute). If you are unable to participate in a meeting in person or remotely, written public comment must be received by 4 p.m. on the day of the meeting. All comments become part of the permanent record. Please submit written public comments to cityhall@mltwa.gov or mail/drop off at City Hall (23204 58th Avenue W., Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043).
