The Mountlake Terrace City Council has two special meetings this week to begin review of the Proposed 2021-2022 Biennial Budget. Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15, the Council will hear presentations from each city department outlining their proposed budgets. Both meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom teleconference.
The October 14 meeting features South County Fire with whom the city contracts for fire and emergency medical services along with presentations from the Recreation, Parks, Property Management and Police Departments. The October 15 meeting features presentations from the Administrative Services, Engineering/Public Works, Community and Economic Development, City Council and City Manager Departments.
Public hearings are tentatively scheduled on the Proposed Budget on Monday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. and the 2021 Property Tax Levy and Final Budget on Monday, November 16 at 7:00 p.m.

Written public comment must be received by 4:00 p.m. on the day of meeting to be acknowledged that night. Please reference Public Comment and the meeting date on your correspondence. The City Clerk will provide the written public comments to the City Council and acknowledge the emails at the meetings.
