  1. Please share your opinion on trees in Mountlake Terrace

Currently, a resident/developer team is reviewing the tree code of Mountlake Terrace to update it. The last substantial update to these tree regulations was in the 1990s. Among the updates being considered is a "tree fund" paid for through fees collected when trees are cut down during development (if trees cannot be retained or replaced on site), and a heritage tree program to celebrate and protect large or special trees on public property.

We want to know your opinions on trees in Mountlake Terrace. The responses to these questions are on a scale of 1-5. Here, 1 means you Strongly Disagree with the statement, and 5 means you Strongly Agree with the statement.

  2. Trees are important to the character of Mountlake Terrace.
  3. I would like to see more street trees.
  4. My neighborhood has fewer trees compared to other parts of Mountlake Terrace.
